 And it's official! Two more of Jane O'Brien's books is now available in Audio. Recently Ruby and Sal was published in audio, and now you can find the next book in the series, Maisy and Max, also in Audio. This is an exciting time for me as I go through each of my books, read, and listen to make sure you get the best quality. I'm re-acquainting myself of some of my old friends. I love it.

All Together Again

The Book of Jade is now available in paperback.  It was quite a trial as there was a small glitch on the cover, but all is right with the world now, as far as I'm concerned.  I always breathe a little easier when my ducks are in a row. Next step is Audible, but that takes more time.  I"ll be sure to let you know when it happens.  For now, you can enjoy reading more of Skye's adventures as she travels to the Far East!

The Book of Jade is now available for purchase for Kindle!!

I was holding off because I wanted the paperback to be ready at the same time, but there has been a delay because of a glitch with the cover. It should be ready soon. I'll keep you updated.

So hurry up and grab your copy of Book 3 in The Branches of Time. I can't wait to hear what you think of it.

Freedom

 

I hope you are all staying warm and safe. It's been a crazy last few days here in Michigan. Cold, windy, and plenty of snow. It just keeps coming, but we may be seeing an end to it now. Because of my focus on the weather, I missed talking about something important -- to me, anyway. I never discuss politics here, but as you may be aware of already, my next book, The Book of Jade, takes place in Taiwan.

I lived in this country for two years and because of that I have always held a fondness for the people and their struggles for democracy. On Saturday, over 14 million people voted in a fair and honest election, when the previous Vice President, Lai Ching-te, was voted into the office of President. For the third consecutive election in a row, Taiwan has chosen freedom and independence. I congratulate them on their victory!

Winter Time

  What else can I say but winter is finally here.  After seeing nothing but green grass all season, we're now expecting up to ten inches of snow between today and tomorrow.  This is Michigan -- one extreme to another.  But there's one thing I know for sure, it will be beautiful beyond imagination.

And at least until it melts, Mr. Snowman will be enjoying my latest book.  How about you?
