 Happy Day! Yesterday's Boys, Book #9 of A Slip in Time was finally released on Audible. It seemed to take forever this time, but here it is. A few days ago, I released book #11 of A Slip in Time.  Thanks to all of my loyal readers, it has been a smashing success.  In only three days it has reached #1 in New Releases in Time Travel Romance on Amazon, and as of this writing it's # 15 in Time Travel Romances. I love it when my books nestle in and around Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series.  Such an honor.

Yesterday's Wishes Has Been Released

YESTERDAY'S WISHES

 It's finally ready.  I can't wait to hear what you think.

Here's the teaser:

In the summer of 1941, World War II is taking hold and causing havoc around the globe.  Each of the Clark boys is affected in a different way.  Jay wants to continue his college education and become a doctor.  Bob just wants to have fun and meet girls.  But events that follow will disrupt both of their lives.

Having been estranged for a few years, the boys soon find they have a common goal which brings them back together.  Now closer than ever, they need to work together to get through the devastation of the war and the results to come.

Bob meets an interesting person who can shed light on their past adventures and perhaps aid in the discovery of the treasures that are so needed to transport Jay to the 1890s where he can once again see his beloved Sadie.

In the meantime, Sadie misses Jay terribly, but in her loneliness she grows closer to Wyatt, the handsome owner of the local newspaper.  Will she be tempted by other men’s affections?  Will she fall in love?  How long will she wait for Jay to return?  Can the young lovers ever find a way to be together again?

Left alone without Dora, Fran is desperate to return to Luke and her family in the 1800s, also; she is completely unaware of Jay’s struggles.  Life in 2036 is nothing like Fran could ever have imagined.  This modern era will never be satisfactory or acceptable for her.  Since the quilt has failed her, she needs to find another way back in time.  How will her time travel plans coincide with Jay’s in the 1940s?  Will the two time travelers be able to return to their respective loved ones?  Will they ever see their sleepy 1800s Michigan town again?

Final Words

It's a day to celebrate. I wrote the final word on Yesterday's Wishes, Book #11 in A Slip in Time. All I can say is I love the way it ended. The last sentence was one of those flukes that came to me on the spot. I'm so excited for you to read it. But of course now the proofreading and editing process begins. My team and I will work as quickly as we can, because you have been so patient with me after my surgery.

Now I can truly say, Book #11 is COMING SOON!! HURRAY!!

 

Audible Books Continue

 I'm excited to announce that I have come to an agreement with my original narrator, Belinda Lams, at Lams Solutions, to do Yesterday's Boys. There's a lot to the entire process so it will take a while, but you can expect Book number 9 to be on Audible in late fall. I hope to immediately move on to Book 10, Yesterday's Treasures, and perhaps by then Yesterday's Wishes will be completed and we can do that one, too. So hang on, you audio listeners. They're coming your way!

Cover Reveal and Teaser

 I'm feeling pretty good today, so I decided to let you in on a little teaser and cover reveal for Yesterday's Wishes.  I promise it is not a spoiler.  Tell em what you think.

 (Wyatt)  "Most folks love hoping and praying for something they want to come to them without any effort, so they make a wish.  There are all kinds of ways to make wishes.  And this will be one more way to add to the fun.”

Sadie frowned, thinking of Jay and what she would love to ask at a wishing well.  “What if they ask for something serious, and it never happens?”

“I don’t think they’ll blame the town.  Maybe they’ll turn to God instead, and that’s a good thing, isn’t it?”

“Well, I’m not too sure.  I’d have to test it out.  And how long are you supposed to wait for your wish to come true?”

Now Wyatt laughed heartily.  “That’s the beauty of it all.  There is no answer to that question.  You could wait a lifetime, and when you finally got what you wanted, you would probably say, it must have been because of the day I threw my penny in that well at Twin Lake.”

Healing

 I'll bet you're wondering where I went. Well, it's been a very long three weeks, and it's still not over yet. I'm getting around better, but I'm not ready to go out much or sit at my computer for more than fifteen or twenty minutes at a time. I'm so glad I had written over 30,000 words on book #11 before surgery. So there's that. I let my husband read it (which I never do until completion) and he's quite excited by it. I'm ready to dig in again and get it finished, but my body says not yet. So please be patient with me. The next book promises to be awesome. Yesterday's Wishes holds even more surprises for you; some wishes will be granted while others will not.
