New Cover #5

And last but not least, this is the new cover for book #5, Emmy and Clay.  I'm sure you'll remember the sapphire bracelet.

New Cover #4

We are up to Book #4 in The Unforgettables, Georgy and Jack. The color theme is still bright on this new cover, so hopefully it will gain more attention on Amazon where only a postage stamp view of the cover is displayed. What do you think of this one? Do you understand the symbol?

New Cover

Every now and then a book needs a boost.  In this case it's my series called The Unforgettables.  While getting great reviews, it does not grab enough attention and the only thing I could think of doing was to try a new cover.  So every day I will be announcing a new cover or two for all five books.  Here is the new cover for Ruby and Sal, Book One. If you've already read the book, you will understand the significance of the Ruby.  Let me know what you think.

Book Quotes

Did you know that at the beginning of every one of my books there is a quote that I have carefully selected? If you are a Kindle reader, you may have missed this page because Kindle opens at Chapter One. I sometimes even include a picture on the title page that relates to my story. If you have a Kindle, the simple solution is to tap on the top, then "Go To", then tap "Cover." That way you'll get to read it all. I bring this up because I am planning on having either a Family Tree or a List of Characters (or both) in Yesterday's Moon, as the town is growing, it can be difficult to remember from book to book who is who.

I have listed the quotes below for each book. Which is your favorite and why?
Yesterday's Tears:
"There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love."
Washington Irving
Yesterday's Hopes:
“Time is too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice;
but for those who love,
time is eternity.”
– Henry Van Dyke. 1852-1933
Yesterday's Dreams:
“Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
- Poem XL”
― A.E. Housman, A Shropshire Lad
Yesterday's Woes:
"A certain amount of opposition is a great help to a man. Kites rise against, not with, the wind."
Lewis Mumford 1895-1990
Yesterday's Blood:
"Time is the most undefinable yet paradoxical of things; the past is gone, the future is not come, and the present becomes the past even while we attempt to define it, and, like the flash of lightning, at once exists and expires."Charles Caleb Colton
Yesterday's Moon:
"Those are the same stars, and that is the same moon, that look down upon your brothers and sisters, and which they see as they look up to them, though they are ever so far away from us, and each other."
Sojourner Truth

Cover Reveal

I'm working diligently on Book 6 of A Slip in Time, but I'm still only half-way through. I hope to stay to my projected time of 'sometime' in November, but I'm in the process of moving and it may slow me down a bit. I can't wait to get in my new office for more inspiration! But for now it means lots of packing, and not as much time to write. So, just to peek your interest, I'm doing my cover reveal. It may change a bit before publication, but for the most part, this is it. What do you think?
